Calvary Greetings and I want to congratulate you for making it to the beginning of a New Year. This year, God said, He will do A New Thing (Isaiah 43:19).
Give thanks to The Almighty that the end of 2015 did not bring an end to your life. You are a victor and more than a conqueror.
In this New Year, God is saying, if you seek Me early, you will find Me (Proverbs 8:17). By the special grace of God, in 2016, God will restore every good thing you have lost in the previous year in Jesus name (Joel 2:25). May God compensate you for every previous effort in Jesus name.
Our theme scripture says, “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19 (AMP)). You need to thank God for in 2016, He will do a New Thing.
God’s word also says in Isaiah 42:9 that “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Shout Hallelujah!
Then in Isaiah 60:17, it says, “Instead of bronze I will bring gold, Instead of iron I will bring silver, Instead of wood, bronze, And instead of stones, iron. I will also make your officers peace, And your magistrates righteousness.” This is His Word and the word of God cannot fail.
In 2016, make praise a lifestyle. The more you praise, the quicker the release of your blessing. The angel that is carrying your blessing is moving at the pace that reflects your praise! When you praise God, you summon the angelic army to give quick attention to your requests. In Christ there is no failure. Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
Jesus Christ is strength in your weakness; He is joy in your sorrow, and your hope for tomorrow. He has forever been faithful and will continue to be.
Therefore, the following are God’s promises to us in 2016:
1. 2016 is the year of New Things (Isaiah 43:19). Something brand new is about to emerge. Be expectant! Expectation is the key to manifestation. Romans 8:19 says the whole world is eagerly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
2. 2016 is the year of Stepping Out (Isaiah 43:19, “… now it shall spring forth …”). You shall be divinely recognised. You shall sing a new song. You shall walk in royalty (1 Peter 2:9). It will be a great error for you to be walk in mediocrity or like a slave (Ecclesiastes 10:7).
Genesis 13:17 commands us to “Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.” All it takes is you to be willing and obedient and you will eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).
3. 2016 is the year that God will make a way (Isaiah 43:19). He will make a way for you. He will divinely intervene like He did in the case of the lame man by the pool of Bethesda (John 5:2-9). You shall enjoy God’s fullness. For Psalm 24:1 says “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”
4. This year, you shall hear the sound of abundance (Isaiah 43:19 “… rivers in the desert …”). It is your year of great provision. Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
5. 2016 is the year of His presence. Exodus 33:14 “And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Psalm 16:11 says in His presence there is fullness of joy.
Psalm 30:5 “For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
May you enjoy the fullness of God’s presence in Jesus name.
6. 2016 is your year of Rest (Exodus 33:14, “…and I will give you rest”). May you enjoy rest and peace that surpasses all human understanding in Jesus name.
Haggai 2:9 “The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
Philippians 4:6-7 says “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
7. This is the year that you will see God’s glory. Exodus 33:18 “And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” May you be enveloped by His glory in Jesus name.
Isaiah 58:8 “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.”
2 Cor. 3:18 “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
8. 2016 is the year to overtake. 1 Samuel 30:8 “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
Prophetic Declarations and Prayers:
2016 is the year of mega-miracles. 1 Cor. 2:9 “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
This is your year of mega-testimonies. People will wonder at the great wonders of God in your life.
Do not be afraid when the enemy flood rises against you. Isaiah 54:15 “Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.”
Isaiah 59:19 “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
For His Church, 2016 shall be a year of new dimension of Power and Authority. The mouth of that roaring lion has been silenced. The Goliath has been slaughtered. The Jericho wall has been flattened. It is time for the manifestation of the promise. He shall do a new thing and all we see. It shall spring forth. He will make a way. I see the fullness of God. The future that you have been expecting is already expecting you. Shout Hallelujah!
In 2016, you’re in for signs and wonders. Learn to stay on the word and trust God.
In 2016, you’re a candidate for multiple miracles.
In 2016, never listen to the voice that weakens your commitment to God.
In the year 2016, you are a candidate for supernatural distinction. Again, I hear the Lord saying focus on me. Trust me and your joy in 2016 will overflow.
In 2016, your life will not be overwhelmed with the voice of the enemy.
In 2016, make prayer the centrepiece of your life and you shall see Him direct your life.
Ezekiel 22:30 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Be the watchman for your family and city and church. Don’t allow the enemy to take you by surprises any longer.
In 2016, God will fix the broken pieces of your life. Get ready for restoration. Be prepared for everything you prayed for. Declare, I am ready!
Psalm 16:1 says “Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.” God shall preserve you in Jesus name.
In 2016 you shall be fruitful as declared in Psalm 92:12.
In 2016, be positive minded (Philippians 4:8). Know that positive thoughts creates positive things.
Don’t quit. You cannot afford to fail. You only fail when you quit. Keep looking up to God. Keep trusting. Psalm 121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
In 2016, know that everyone’s life journey is different. God has good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Opinions don’t define your reality. Do not be overwhelmed by the circumstances around you. You shall sing a new song. You will break forth.
In 2016, let your dedication and commitment to God be unquantifiable.
In 2016, again, God is saying, if you seek me early, you will find me.
The Scriptures in 2 Timothy 4:18 has a wonderful promise: ‘The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom.’ Let’s claim this promise every day of our lives in 2016. Also, knowing that material blessings are important but in this New Year, let us pray earnestly for spiritual blessings because the spiritual controls the physical.
2 Peter 1:3 says ‘His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him…’ Pray that you will know Jesus in a very intimate way, even more than we knew Him in all the past years.
This year, it’s my prayer that God will perfect all that concerns you and family. He will strengthen, establish and settle you (1 Peter 5:10). He shall do a New Thing. The siege is over and victory ascertained. Keep the focus with the understanding that ‘from Him and through Him and to Him are all things ..,”
Many thanks for all your support all this far. God bless.
