The Pastors

Dr. Akpo Onduku has a passion for winning souls and church planting. He is an astute leadership and motivational speaker who has spoken in both secular and Christian conferences around the world. He has a great drive to inspire people in discovering and maximizing their potential to enable them to fulfill their purpose in life. He possesses postgraduate degrees in Public Administration, International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies and Law from universities across Europe, Africa and the USA. He holds other professional qualifications such as a certificate in PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) from the USA. Dr. Onduku is a consultant in peace and conflict resolution and has worked as a university researcher and Christian charity worker in Florida, USA. He is a strong believer in the power of prayer and the manifestation of the power of God through miracles.

Dr. Akpo Onduku has been the Resident Pastor of Chapel of Grace since January 4th 2009. Prior to this, he was a serving minister in RCCG, Strongtower Parish Bradford which he pioneered along with three other adults in 2002. He returned to Bradford after a two year stay in Miami, Florida where he served in a Zonal Headquarter church (RCCG Victory Parish) and helped to coordinate a new parish in West Palm Beach, Florida, (RCCG Latter Rain Parish). He believes in teaching the word of God with simplicity to develop confident leaders for the future. He is passionate in winning the lost and seeing the captives set free through healing and deliverance. On his return to Bradford, Dr. Onduku also pioneered and facilitated the quarterly 24 hour prayer chain and the monthly early morning walk in the city. Beyond this, he has also been involved in several other evangelistic crusades and programmes within the UK and in various other parts of the world.

Andrea Onduku pastors Chapel of Grace along with her husband, Dr. Onduku. She is a devoted mother, writer, editor and she has served as a church administrator both in the USA and UK. She has a degree in Counselling and Psychology in Community Settings in the UK and studied Marriage and Family Therapy at the postgraduate level in the USA. She also holds several professional qualifications including a certificate in PAIRS from the USA, and qualifications in Information, Advice and Guidance, Conflict Resolution and Management and Dealing with Conflict. She is currently a relationship columnist and the editor of Sunrise Magazine, a quarterly magazine of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, UK. She has appeared alongside her husband in several forums speaking on marital and other relationship issues. She has a strong passion to see the hurting restored and relationships repaired through the freedom that only Jesus Christ can give.

Dr. Akpo and Andrea Onduku are both also graduates of the School of Disciples, an Accelerated Postgraduate Discipleship programme of Christ Redeemer’s Ministries of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide. They are blessed with two children, John and Phoebe.

The Ministering Team

Deaconess Florence Oyedele trained as a general nurse and has worked as a registered nurse for the NHS in various hospitals for over 15years and later crossed over to the private sector. She has specialized in medicine, nutrition and holistic care of the elderly, working in various nursing and care homes within and around West Yorkshire. This has afforded her the privilege to contribute and be involved in the welfare of senior citizens in her community.

By His special grace she has been involved in various Christian ministries both in the UK and in Nigeria. She obtained both a basic and an advanced certificate in prayer from Gethsemane Prayer School in Nigeria.

She is married to Revd Samuel O. Oyedele. They are blessed with 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Her passion and vision is to see the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:23-26 come to pass in His church breaking down all denominational barriers to see His church become a formidable force in the earth. She co-ordinates the senior ambassadors and welfare departments .

Owusu Amoateng is an aspiring writer and a motivational, and leadership speaker. He holds a degree in Psychology and Sociology and Certificates in Leadership and Strategic Management and Information Technology. His purpose is to revive, restore and refresh the spirit of man. He is a strong believer of God’s purpose for man and seeks to help mankind to discover the joy of the new life in Christ. He coordinates the Worship Team and the Sunday School and Technical Departments . He is happily married to Rhoda and they have two children, Christine and Ephraim.
