The Holy Scripture in Jeremiah 32:27 says, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” This word came to Prophet Jeremiah at a very difficult time in his ministry. God’s people at this time had drifted from the truth. Jeremiah had warned the kings and the people that if they didn’t repent, they will be led into captivity by foreign powers. The people ignored his warnings and he watched them go into captivity with the land ravaged. In the midst of persecution, rejection and imprisonment, Jeremiah had a vision of what will happen in the future, that God would restore the nation of Israel. To the glory of God, we have seen Israel restored in our time.
The God we serve is a faithful God. There is absolutely really nothing that is too hard for Him to do. In Luke 1:37, Mary the mother of Jesus Christ on hearing that her cousin Elisabeth had also conceived a son in her old age said, “for with God nothing shall be impossible.” He can do anything. Also, when God rescued the children of Israel at the Red Sea and in seeing the great work of destruction which God did upon the Egyptians, Moses feared God Almighty the more. He sang with the children of Israel sweet melodies, like “I will sing unto the Lord, for he had triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” (Exodus 15:1). In continuing they sang, “Who is like unto, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11). Our God is truly a God of wonders.
The God we serve can reverse the irreversible. In the lexicon of the Almighty, words like impossibility and too late do not exist. Hence in Matthew 19:26, Jesus Christ said, what is impossible with men is possible with Jehovah God. The psalmist says that “from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 92:2). God is the beginning of beginnings. In John 1:1, the Bible says, “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. Our God is limitless. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending (Revelation 1:8). Therefore, you don’t have to be limited by the things and situations around you. God is so much bigger than your existence.
In all, in this season of No Limits, I want to encourage you. Don’t put God in a box. Make room for increase. Do not allow anything and or any situation to be more important than knowing God. Live a life that honours God. To every reader of this message, I decree over your life that every limitation that has been placed over you will be lifted this season in Jesus name. It is well with you and you shall soar as an eagle in Jesus name.
