JANUARY – The God of Possibilities

Categories: Blog,Word of the Month

Calvary greetings in the name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has made it possible for us to come into 2011 – The Year of Great Expectation (Rom. 4:18-19).   God declared unto us that we should expect great things this year. Expectation changes your perception of life. Whatever is lingering in your life will be resolved in Jesus Name (Gen 18:14). You can do all things through Christ (Phil. 4:13).  You can make it through every challenge. In this year, your greatness will be far bigger than those you are tempted to envy (1 Sam 9:1-2). It is a New Dawn (Isa. 43:19).

This year, God Almighty will manifest Himself as the God of possibilities ((Luke 1:37, Matt. 19:26, Gen. 18:14, Jer. 32:27). Remember that when we do what we can, God will do what we can’t. It is your year of manifestation, for the world is waiting for the greatness inside of you to manifest (Romans 8:19).  Therefore, whatever you are going through, do not give up or give in but press through, for this is also the year of possession (Num. 13:30).  Expect a divine turnaround for the tide will turn to favour you (Psalm 102:13).  God told us that, this year, how far He will take us will depend on our willingness to obey divine instructions (Isa. 1:19, Job. 36:11).  If you obey divine instructions, you will get divine manifestations. It is the year of wonders (Isa. 9:6-7) for it is the year of the Master!

Furthermore, this is also the year of great awakening ((Isa 52:1-2) and divine exploits (Dan. 11:32). It is the year of His awesome presence (Psa. 16:11) and power (Luke 10:19; Hab. 3:2). The anti-christ spirits in the land will bow in the name of Jesus Christ. Therefore, expect outstanding breakthroughs and there shall be a purging in the house of God (2 Kings 7:8-11; Obadiah 1:17-18). Hence, this is also the year of total freedom to those that believe (Ex. 15; John 8:36, Isa 49:24-26) and your joy shall be everlasting (Isa. 51:11).

This is also our year of unusual opportunities (2 Kings 13:16-19), open doors (Rev. 3:7, Acts 12:5-11), repositioning (Isa. 60:1-3) and mercy (Heb. 11:31). For some, this shall be the year of divine connections. For singles, many shall be supernaturally connected to their life partners (Gen 2:18). Also, there will be unexpected alliances in businesses and reunion of relationships to His glory.  To those that will believe, God will perfect, strengthen, establish and settle you (1 Peter 5:10) for this is the year of divine remembrance (Deut 11:32; Acts 10:1-4; 2 Cor. 4:17).

In fact, this is the year of divine visitation and for some revelation and spiritual clarity (Heb. 1:13-14).  It shall be the year of creation and birthing (Luke 1:5-20) and many shall experience divine promotion from prison to the palace (Gen.44:14).

Therefore, I welcome you all to a season of celebration this month. As we acknowledge the God of possibilities, He will put an end to hopelessness in your lives in Jesus name (Luke 5:5). Just like Peter obeyed the command of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I encourage you to walk in righteousness and uncommon testimonies shall be your portion in Jesus Name (Isa. 64:4)!

Shalom,

Dr. Akpo Onduku.
