December – Great Grace, Great Power

Categories: Word of the Month

Calvary greetings in the name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has made it possible for us to come to the last month of year 2012 – Our Year to Soar as the Eagle (1saiah 40:31). Our theme for this month is Great Grace; Great Power (Acts 4:33).  This is in appreciation of what the Almighty God has done for us as a church (Psalm 102:13).  We are not unmindful of the abundant grace that He has bestowed upon us. Let somebody shout Victory At Last! Hallelujah!

At the beginning of the year, God declared unto us that just as the eagle is the king amongst birds, 2012 is our year of manifestation of royalty and dominion (1 Peter 2:9). Mediocrity and obscurity will give way to greatness and influence. We were admonished that in this year, our greatness will be far bigger than those we are tempted to envy and that it is our year of NEW THINGS (Isa. 43:19). Again, we were encouraged not to allow the storms of life to stop us from fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives rather ride to greatness with the storms like the eagle and that we should be unstoppable for the Lord Almighty will see us through we shall reign, soar and dominate in Jesus name.

It is with great joy and humility of heart that we can declare that we have acquired our church property, the former World Missionary headquarters of the Apostolic Church. This is just a manifestation of the covenant keeping God that we serve and to Him be all the glory. At the beginning of the year, the Almighty God had declared that our waiting is over and that there shall be no more delays for the Bible says in Proverbs 13:12 that “hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” We thank God that our desire has come to fruition. He promised that if any delay is from him, then it is for a purpose and that He will make everything beautiful in His time (Eccles. 3:11) and so He did. Let Somebody Shout Glory! Ezek. 12:25-28 says when God speaks it shall come to pass.  Is there anything you are trusting God to do this year, your desire shall come to pass this season in Jesus name and you shall testify to His glory!

Also, the year 2012 has been our year of great productivity. Therefore, your seed will find a good ground and yield forth great harvest (Luke 8:5-8).  I decree over your life that in all your endeavours you shall continuously have real results and supernatural harvest (Luke 5:1-11; Amos 9:13). Before, this your crosses over, you will encounter a divine turnaround in Jesus name (Psalm 30:5). The work of your hands shall be blessed (Deut. 16:15; Deut. 28:12).

Furthermore, as we go through the last month of the year, I encourage you to keep the fire of God burning (Lev. 6:12-13). Do not let His presence leave you and family.  I have come to know that whenever there is great grace, there is great power and the Bible says, in the days of His power the people shall be willing (Psalm 110:3).  Let’s be thirsty for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for the Lord is continuously looking for someone that will stand in the gap (Is.44:3. Ezekiel 22:30).  Why not be that vessel that God will rely on?

In all, in this season of His power, the Spirit of God will fall fresh upon you (Ps. 92:10). Great grace and power will accompany your obedience to God’s will (Acts 4:33). You must learn to live by faith.  The world will not be able to handle you because of the new anointing (Acts 2:1-4). People that have mocked you before now will celebrate with you (Acts 5:15). Let righteousness be your watchword!

Shalom,

Dr. Akpo Onduku.
