Text : Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; (Proverbs 9:1 NKJV)
Wisdom didn’t build a tent that can be easily destroyed but a house therefore wisdom is a permanent structure that is necessary to provide shelter
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (James 3:17 NKJV)
Wisdom is:
  1. Pure
  2. Peaceable
  3. Gentle
  4. Willing to yield
  5. Full of mercy and good fruits
  6. Without partiality
  7. Without hypocrisy

The foolish woman is noisy; she is simple and open to all forms of evil, she [willfully and recklessly] knows nothing whatever [of eternal value]. (Proverbs 9:13 AMP)

They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. (Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.) (2 Timothy 3:6, 7 NLT)
Don’t be vulnerable like this woman, know the truth that you can be free and strong and not taken advantage of.
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7 NKJV)
Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding your nearest kin, (Proverbs 7:4 NKJV)
Love wisdom like a sister; make insight a beloved member of your family. (Proverbs 7:4 NLT)
Wisdom is gained from listening when you would have preferred to talk
4 Types of Wisdom
  1. Perfect Wisdom of God which was demonstrated when He created the world. Cannot be understood by man.
  2. Wisdom of the world
  3. Wisdom of Solomon (Luke 11:31)
  4. Wisdom of God for Man

What are the 7 Pillars of Wisdom (they had already been hewn out before it was stated in Prov. 9:1)

“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. (Proverbs 8:12-14 NKJV)
  1. Prudence. Wisdom and prudence are always together, inseparable. Prudence is caution, sound judgement and foresight.
  2. Knowledge and discretion
  3. The fear of God (Proverbs 8:13, Proverbs 1:7). To hate evil, pride and arrogance. Fear means reverence and a right attitude to God.
  4. Counsel – Proverbs 8:14. Counsel means to give good advice and to listen to counsel “Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life” (Proverbs 19:20 NLT)
  5. Sound Wisdom (Proverbs 8:14). Putting wisdom in ever day life. “for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair”; (Proverbs 1:3 NIV)
  6. Understanding (Proverbs 8:14) To understand, we must know that true wisdom comes from only God, we must read the Bible to get wisdom and we must be able to discern wisely between good and evil.
  7. Power (Proverbs 8:14) No point understanding the problem if there is no power to solve it. Wisdom strengthens the wise More than ten rulers of the city. (Ecclesiastes 7:19 NKJV)
